Principal's Update, Sean Woolley.
|
|
As we come to the end of another wonderful term, I would like to take a moment to reflect on the achievements, hard work, and growth that have marked this period for our school community. It has been a term filled with excitement, challenges, and countless moments of learning and development, and I am incredibly proud of everything we’ve accomplished together.
Our students have shown remarkable dedication to their studies, and we have seen tremendous progress across all year groups. Whether in the classroom or through independent work, students have consistently demonstrated their commitment to academic excellence. Special mention must go to our Year 6 students for their outstanding effort and hard work towards their SATS next term. As well as to those students who have excelled in extracurricular activities like [sports, music, drama, etc.].
I encourage all our students to take pride in their efforts, both big and small, as they continue to grow and challenge themselves in the next term.
This term has been a vibrant one for our extracurricular activities, with students engaging in a wide range of clubs, sports, and artistic endeavours. These experiences are invaluable for personal growth and teamwork, and I am delighted to see so many students embracing opportunities outside the classroom.
|
As we look ahead to the next term, there are many exciting events and activities lined up. We will continue to focus on nurturing our students’ academic skills, as well as their personal development. Our upcoming trips and visits are something to look forward to, and I encourage all students to participate and make the most of these opportunities.
I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the teachers, staff, and parents for their continuous support and dedication to the success of our students. It is through our collective efforts that we are able to create an environment that fosters growth, learning, and kindness.
Lastly, I would like to wish all of our students and families a restful and enjoyable break. I hope everyone returns next term feeling refreshed, energised, and ready for the new challenges ahead.
Thank you for being a part of our school community.
Sean Woolley

Nut Allergy (Please read this very important information)
We have a number of children in school who have very severe nut allergys (peanuts/hazelnuts/almond). As their allergies are triggered from ingestion and touch we have enforced a total ban of all nuts in school.
Your child is not at any risk whatsoever from this situation. However, the health and wellbeing of our pupils who are at risk, does depend on your co-operation. Please do not bring any items in to school that contain nuts eg. chocolate spread, cakes, biscuits etc.
Thank you for your co-operation in this very serious matter.
