Parent View
At Epworth Primary Academy we are keen to hear the views and opinions of stakeholders involved within the Academy community. We regularly invite parents to feedback to us during formal information giving evenings. The Principal is available most days on the gate before and after school to speak briefly to parents. If you require a longer, more private conversation, an appointment can be made through the Academy reception.
Parents can also complete an Ofsted survey, Parent View, online here.
- My child moved into this school and I find the school staff approachable and helpful, nothing is ever too much for them.
- It's a great school with a good education system and brilliant teachers.
- I would recommend.
- The teachers that I have interacted with are approachable, not scary. You try and do what is best for all the children
- The additional support for those students who aren’t at the required standards is great. The school is supportive of a child’s neurodiverse needs other than the issue raised above which has been a one off instance.
- I think Epworth Primary is a fantastic school and I’m so pleased to be able to send my son to school here.
- Great staff
- The atmosphere in the school is always very welcoming and the pupils are happy and proud to be at the school. Staff know the children, and my children have always been happy and felt 'seen'
- Very impressed with the school and ethics so far
- Excellent school that I am extremely pleased with
- Friendly staff & lots of educational experiences on offer.
- Epworth offer a well rounded school experience
- Happy, safe environment that supports educational achievement and pastoral care
- Brilliant team and great leader in Mr Woolley, everyone I have spoken to is very happy to help me and our children
- My son thrives at EPA. He has never had a day he hasnt been eager to learn and attend school. The minor issues I have reported about other children have been managed swiftly and effectively. The school
provide superb trips for the children; the best I have seen from a school. The headteacher is very approachable and a very visible presence in school and to parents on the school gates. All teaching staff I have met in my sons 4 years at the school have been superb; kind, approachable, always going over and above. The admin staff are very friendly approachable and always deal with things quickly. In my view;this school is a credit to our community.
Pupil View
Pupil View
Pupils are involved in the life of the academy and are encouraged to take responsibility through the Academy Council. Two children are elected from each class from Year 2 upwards to be class representatives on the Academy Council for a year.
The academy council also provides us with pupil feedback about what we are doing well and where we could improve, from a pupil’s perspective. Pupil voice activities are carried out periodically to allow all pupils to have their say.
